I welcome you to Uptown Academy website, hoping that you will find it informative and interactive.  Uptown Academy is a vibrant school, comprising Nursery/Primary section on one hand and Secondary section on the other. Our school has a safe and conducive environment for excellent and balanced academic, moral and social development of future leaders. We occupy a distinctive place in the comity of private schools in Nigeria. 
The school was conceived out of the need to bridge the gap between attainment of academic excellence and the realities of survival in a constantly evolving global socio-economic environment. Our children's mental, emotional and moral development is our priority.  We are a close-knit community that thrives on collaborative and enduring partnership with our parents. Our forte is open communication with parents and in the upbringing of academically and morally stable children raised in the fear of God. Our curriculum which is delivered by well motivated, resourceful and qualified staff, provides our pupils and students with opportunities to fully harness their unique potentials and develop necessary skills for holding their own and excelling in their chosen endeavours. Learning is simplified and fun, but we are not hesitant to throw challenges at our children, to build their confidence, mental development, independence and to align with Uptown's high standards and expectations.
At Uptown, we reckon that every child is unique in his own right and consider it a privilege to help nurture their potentials to fruition. We seek to educate for life and maintain a well developed extra-curricular program to achieve this mission. Our pupils are taught to imbibe such values as discipline, resilience, tolerance and encouraged to hone their leadership skills through sports, music, science, art and entrepreneurship.
